Terms of service

By creating a Make Log account you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a creamery, you agree on its behalf.

The service

Make Log is a tool for keeping cheese make and aging records. Release dates, the raw-milk hold and care reminders are a convenience worked out from what you enter: you remain responsible for meeting your state dairy program's and the FDA's rules, and for the safety of the cheese you sell. We aren't responsible for product loss, recalls, or regulatory findings.

Your account

• Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• The creamery owner controls who joins the creamery's account and can disable users at any time.
• Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break in, overload it, or access other companies' data.

Plans and billing

• New creameries get a 14-day trial with no card needed. After it, adding and changing records needs a paid plan; plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel any time from the Billing page; you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. We don't give partial refunds.
• If a plan lapses, your data stays, but you can only read and export it, and user logins above the Farmstead plan stop working, until you choose a plan again.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email.

Your data

Your creamery's records belong to you. You can export them at any time. See the privacy policy for what we store.

Availability

We work to keep Make Log running but can't promise it will never be down. The service is provided "as is", and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will email account owners about material changes. You can stop using Make Log at any time; we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
